Topic: Web design from the programmer’s and the technical communicator’s perspective

We'll examine basic design principles, technical limitations that can affect design, and strategies for collaborating with others on a web site.

Speakers: Linda Hooper of Medtronic Sofamor Danek (and formerly iXL) will speak from the technical writing/design perspective, and David Walker of Dunavant Enterprises will speak from the programming perspective.

Get advice on creating effective web sites, while considering aspects such as proposed content, audience, technical limitations, cost, and development timeframe.

The library entrances are on Poplar and Walnut Grove between Holmes and Tillman. After you enter the library's lobby, go through the doorway on the left, which leads to the meeting rooms.
