March Meeting: Panel of Tax Experts

We hope you will join us for our next meeting on March 8: Tax Deductions for Technical Communicators. We know we have special needs whether we are captive employees, freelancers, or have our own technical communication companies. What do you need to know before you send off your taxes? Come listen to our CPA panel, who will offer advice on tax deductions that we can take when freelancing or when spending our own money on professional expenses.

Our panel will include the following:

• Charles Bargiachi, CPA of Lenahan, Smith & Bargiachi, P.C., who has 29 years experience in Public Accounting
• Shayne Smith, CPA of Lenahan, Smith & Bargiachi, P.C., who has 13 years experience in Public Accounting
• Michelle Ross-Martin, CPA of Michelle Ross, CPA, who has 16 years of accounting experience and has been preparing tax returns even longer than that
• Dywuana Sykes, CPA of Integrity Tax and Bookkeeping, who has a Masters in Business Administration and Management, 8 years experience in tax practice and 8 years experience collectively in audit, financial reporting and general ledger accounting
